The Beauty Blender is the most unusual pink egg applicator you've ever seen! Unlike a sponge applicator, it does not soak up your foundations - the powder sits on the top of the egg. Can be applied both wet or dry, and gives a flawless application every time. Use the small pointed tip to apply beneath the eyes, in the creases beside your nose, or areas you'd use a concealer brush. Try it for dramatic eye shadow effects! The rounded bottom is used to apply an all over face application (wet or dry) - just dip into your powder and bounce the egg all over your face! Beauty Blender's are latex free, ordorless, and completely hypo-allergenic, not to mention how soft it is! If you find that you're "brush challenged", or don't like the mess involved using brushes, the Beauty Blender is a perfect option for you. Easy to clean, just wet (watch it increase to double it's size!), apply the enclosed cleaner or Dr. Bronner's Pure Castile Soap, and rinse. Put it back on it's pedestal and let it dry.

I found it very easy to use, just dab it on your face like you normally would with a regular sponge until you reach your desired effect. You can also use it wet to apply your mineral foundation wet for more coverage. It does give the same coverage as a flat top buffer brush so it's a nice alternative. Also, if it's time to throw away your beauty blender, you can send it back to them for recycling! So its great for the environment too!
On a later post, Vanessa says: And I LOVE the Beauty Blender Sponges! I know, I know, they are a bit pricey for SPONGES, but I can't live without them! They last forever for me, my liquid foundations don't sink in them so it's not going to "waste", and the unique shape allows me to cover large and small areas with ease. I ended up buying two additional ones, one for my makeup bag, and one for when I travel.

I usually never do endorsements but this set is incredible. The sponges are unlike anything I have ever used to apply foundation with. The narrow tip really does evenly spread my make-up under my eyes and perfectly in the hard to navigate spots.

I am still head over heels for my Beauty Blender. This is one of the best makeup (well tools, not actual makeup) purchases I have made in recent times. If you are at all on the fence I highly recommend you take a chance with this. One thing I'm also find is with this I can put on my makeup a bit faster. It really gives a flawless finish! Amazing!
